Program a ATtiny Using an Arduino
Easy step by step guide to how to program an ATtiny using an Arduino.
I've also completed a step by step guide on my Instructables page which has all of info you need including, parts used, how to make the developer board, wiring diagram etc.

Additional Board Manager URL (to be pasted into preferences):
raw.githubusercontent.com/sleemanj/optiboot/master/dists/package_gogo_diy_attiny_index.json
Blink Script:
//We will replace "LED_BUILTIN" with "4" since ATtiny does not have a built-in led!
void setup() {
// initialize digital Pin 3 of ATtiny 13(defined in hardware as 4) as an output.
pinMode(4, OUTPUT);
}
// the loop function runs over and over again forever
void loop() {
digitalWrite(4, HIGH); // turn the LED on (HIGH is the voltage level)
delay(1000); // wait for a second
digitalWrite(4, LOW); // turn the LED off by making the voltage LOW
delay(1000); // wait for a second
}

How to Build a Junkbot
Переглядів 375Місяць тому
Junkbots are literally just as the name says - they are robots made from junk! This one is made from a variety of parts including a fuel filter, bike brake levers, bike light and a bunch of other random parts. They aren't hard to make but you will need a good selection of parts to choose from. The trickiest part of the build is working out how everything is joined together. I try and challenge ...
Booklight Inside a Book!

CMOS Clock Counter - 4060 IC Build
Переглядів 4774 місяці тому
This CMOS clock counter counts ecactly one second intervals to 99,999 and then resets to zero to start all over again. The circuit is built using 2 4060 IC's, a handful of 4033 IC's and 7 segment LED displays. So why bother building something like this? Well I wanted to create a little reminder for myself that the seconds are always ticking by and there are only 89,400 in each day - so get busy...
Ekoplam - a Dub Siren and Delay/Reverb Synth in one. Little Synths with BIG Sounds #3
Переглядів 1,8 тис.7 місяців тому
Hello all This is number 3 in the "Little Synths With BIG Sounds" builds. You can find the other 2 synths in the links below. This one is a classic, all in one dub siren and delay/reverb synth. You can also use the delay/reverb section separately and plug in other synths to add some richness & depth. It's an easy build and I've included all of the gerber files, schematics etc which you can find...
Proton - Little Synths With BIG Sounds
Переглядів 1,3 тис.8 місяців тому
This is the 2nd build in a series of little synths with big sounds that I'm building. The original design comes from Syntherjack and you can find a link below to he's build. This is a super fun synth to play with and has some amazing rich sounds that can be generated. This is especially surprising considering it's all run off 1 IC and a couple AA batteries! I've also published a step by step gu...
Elements - Little Synths with BIG Sounds
Переглядів 5 тис.9 місяців тому
This is the first in a series of little synths that I'm building. In making this synth I had a few goals I wanted to hit: 1. Make it easy to build and assessable to anyone with a soldering iron. No fancy power supplies or handmade cases 2. Have to be fun to play and have a BIG sound 3. Can be connected externally to other equipement like sequencers You can find all of the gerber files, schemati...

Shotgun Shell Light V3

This is my 3rd version of the shotgun shell lighter. The other 2 can be found in links below. After reading a few improvement suggestions on the vid for version 2, I decided to add these into version 3. The main ones are that the cap that covers the wick is now connected to the lighter so you don't have to un-screw it (or potentially lose it!) The 2nd one is, I have removed the filler section o...

    Great idea! I suggest you buy a safe can opener, those that do a lateral cut to seamlessly cut the bottom

    The controls work both ways: you can modify the playback speed AND you can modify the max recording time, however, "longer recording time = more low-fi quality".

    Why could'nt the plug end which connects to the PC be replaced with a 1/4" jack for the guitar without doing any other mods? I'm not talking about any power requirements. I know this video was uploaded 8 years ago so I'm hoping you will still respond to this question. Have a good day.

    Hi, love the stuff you do been checking out your new stuff and your older dub siren stuff and think it’s all great I’ve got a question about how it some parts of it work because I can’t for the life of me figure it but in the examples the pitch modulation from essentially the 555 ic configured as an lfo sounds to me as if it’s sometimes a smooth sine like modulation and sometimes the more alternating between two pitches like the square wave it should be emitting do you know why this is?
